Terms of use
The ground rules for this website, its guides and the prices it shows.
Last updated: October 25, 2026. These terms cover your use of the Einwechter Electric website. By using the site, you agree to them.
Guides are general information
Our guides explain electrical work and Ontario’s rules in plain language, with links to official sources and the date the facts were last checked. They are general information, not engineering or legal advice, and they are no substitute for an electrician looking at your installation. Codes, bulletins and utility rules change, so check the source before relying on a detail.
Never attempt electrical work you are not qualified to do. In Ontario, electrical work needs a notification filed with the Electrical Safety Authority, and anyone you hire to do it must be a licensed electrical contractor.
Prices are not quotes
Price ranges on this site are typical figures for the area, in Canadian dollars before tax, drawn from the sources listed with them. They are not quotes or offers. The real price depends on your building, its existing wiring and service, access, materials and the scope of work.
How quotes work
We give quotes after a site visit, once we have seen the job. A quote request sent through this site does not create a contract. Any agreement for work is made in the written quote we give you, on the terms set out in it.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Einwechter Electric is not liable for losses arising from use of, or reliance on, the information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
Links to other sites
We link to official sources such as the Electrical Safety Authority and local utilities. We are not responsible for the content of those sites.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
