What this website collects, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how to have it changed or deleted.
Last updated: October 25, 2026. This website is operated by Einwechter Electric, 20 Steckle Place, Unit 6, Kitchener, Ontario N2E 2C3. Questions or requests about your information: info@einwechterelectric.com.
What we collect and why
- Quote requests: your name, phone number, email, the address or town of the job, and the details you give us about the work. We use them to answer your request, prepare a quote and arrange the job.
- Unfinished requests: if you start a quote request and leave before sending it, the part you filled in is saved so we can send you one reminder email. The email includes a link to opt out, and we do not send more than one.
- Analytics, only with your consent: if you accept analytics, Google Analytics records the pages you view and general information about your device and browser. It does not load unless you agree.
- Visit counts: a first-party counter records which page a visit started on and whether a request was sent, using a random session id. It does not store your IP address or any personal details.
- Server logs: our hosting keeps standard technical logs, used for security and troubleshooting.
Who sees it
Our own team, to handle your request. We also rely on service providers to run the site: hosting, email delivery and internal notifications that tell us a request has arrived. They handle your information only to provide those services to us, and some of them may process it outside Canada.
We never sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and unfinished drafts are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Information tied to a job we carry out may be kept longer where the law requires it, for example in our tax and business records.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email info@einwechterelectric.com and we will answer within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
